If I see another idiot post the link to that “Atheist Professor Gets Taught a Lesson” video, I am going to lose it!

schnibbledibble:

Oh wait, I lost it 16 years ago (“it” being my sanity). First of all, Albert Einstein made NO SUCH ARGUMENT. Anybody who watches that and is awe-inspired that Einstein would have done that is an idiot, because they do not care to look it up and figure out if it was actually he who said that, or just some loser making up stuff on the internet to appeal to Christians. I am really sick and tired of seeing people share the “Dropped Chalk” nonsense and the one where an armed services member disrespectfully attacks his professor. I am losing my patience for this mess.

Here is the link to the stupid video: http://god-bless-you.org/?p=2857

My personal beliefs aside, here’s my issue with this video:

The arguments the kid makes are completely science-based.  The kid obviously goes along with the belief of many scientists that a God would tell of his existence through his own creation. By that logic, religion is already taught in schools as science.  The argument the kid posed did nothing more than tell an arrogant, ignorant atheist to stop trying to force his beliefs on other people.

The situation was twisted around from “find true religion in science” to “let’s teach our religion rather than science.”  The campaign completely works against the argument shown in the video.  The video holds absolutely no credibility.
