ooc: spoilers (kankri feels and a different kind of spectrum)
basically I’m on the autistic spectrum and I see him a’s the same way
Like, fixations for one; his SJ thing reads like an Aspie obsession for me (he can’t shut up about it, for one); and I imagine that it’s how he tries to connect with people, trying to help
But people, like animals for me, are easier to cope with when it’s theoretical
Yeah this is just my most intense thoughts about itPlausible theory but…
Non-autistics can get obsessed with things too…

For me, it’s the combinations that draw my suspicions. His initial infodump is about triggers which suggests Kankri having some type of disability. Aterwards, he infodumps about Befornian culture, so that’s two obsessive interests.
In addition to that, he also wears a different outfit from the rest. The others all wear clothes specific to their zodiac sign and color with a consistent style between each of them while he just wears a sweater. Texture?
It’s also been pointed out that he clearly did not understand Karkat’s body language.
He most likely has some disability and each factor seems to point to the autism spectrum.
We’ll most likely see soon enough.
